What is the NSL Elite Division?

Clubs are invited to participate in this division. The Spring 2017 clubs were considered based on past performance, club standards and history. The division is made up from the top 4 teams in NSL and the top 4 teams in the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA). Provided for both girls and boys from the ages of 13U to 18U.

The league format will have the NSL teams playing a home and away schedule against each other and then participate in cross-over games against CJSA teams at a neutral location. This league will also provide qualification for respective State Cup tournaments as an officially sanctioned league of USYS.

4 NSL teams will play each other home and away over a 6 week season and then a weekend of double headers agaisnt clubs and teams from CJSA for an 8 game spring season. 13U to 15U teams boys and girls will play at a CT location and 16U to 18U will play in MA.

Any additional costs associated with the rental of fields at MYSA Lancaster for spring 2017 will be paid for by the league.

Our aim is to add teams from other state that are not currently playing in the NSL such as Vermont and New York to provide an even more regional outreach.
